Zup Board Review 2020 – Easy Alternative to Surfboards

zup board reviews

I was surfing the net a few weeks ago and have come across this product called Zup Board. I could not find many reviews about it, so I decided to write my own Zup Board review.

Zub boards were invented by Glen Duff and Tim Zeckser. After realizing that not everyone was made for skiing or wake-boarding, these two guys took a chance. They created a Zup Board that will allow everyone, even total newbies, to enjoy fun time on the water.

Oh yeah, you might have seen them on the show called The Shark Tank. The sharks did not bite but the brand is getting noticed by many. And with good reason.

If you are looking for something other than zup boards that can give you as much fun and excitement you can also read this Water Tubing article I wrote recently.

Zup Boards Review

There are 7 different types of Zup Boards you can buy today. And I have to admit, they are creative with Zup Board names.

They are as follows:

  • YouGotThis 1.0
  • YouGotThis 2.0
  • DoMore 2.0
  • YouGo Board
  • Rize Zup & Surf
  • Rize Zup & Boogie
  • Coast

YouGotThis 1.0 Board

This is the first generation of YouGotThis Board. If you are looking for the best beginner’s board this is it. It offers riders a variety of options when riding. You can stand, kneel or lay on it, it does it all.

But just because it is good for beginners it does not mean that it is not good for experienced users. Just the opposite. Even experienced riders will find this board fun and challenging.

YouGotThis 2.0 Board

This is the second generation of YouGotThis Board and is the most popular and best selling Zup board product. If you liked 1.0 version you will love 2.0 for its hydrodynamics, agility and wake surf worthiness. YouGotThis 2.0 is going to challenge anyone from beginner to intermediate level.

Try YouGotThis 2.0 Board

Another perk of choosing 2.0 over 1.0 is the color choices. While the 1.0 board only offers one color, 2.0 has three. If you like fun bright colors this is a no brainer.

Zup Coast Board

The last board on zup board review list is the Coast Board.

If you are a total newbie, this would be the perfect choice for you. Although I should mention that unlike other boards, the Coast has a weight limit of only 150 lbs.

If you are looking for a wild fund ride, this board is not for you. This board is made for kids under 10 years old who are looking for a slow and smooth ride.

But even though this board is not as fast as some other beforementioned, you can be sure that your kids will have an awesome time gliding around the lake.

Conclusion

If you were not gifted with athletic abilities and are finding it difficult to learn water skiing or wakeboarding, Zup Board is your answer. You may not look as cool as professional surfers, but you will have as much fun as they do.

But you should know that just because the Zup Boards are made for everyone doesn’t mean that there is no learning curve involved. You will have to put some practice time into it and maybe take some painful spills, but it’s worth it.

So, there you have it. I hope you have enjoyed my zup board review, the first of its kind on the internet. If you would like to share some thoughts about it or your experiences, please do so below. I would be glad to read about your Zup Board stories.
